如何將Dropbox以服務型式啟動(免登入運行) Start Dropbox as a Windows Service

前置作業：安裝Dropbox, 取消開機時自動啟動 ( 一般型 與 服務型 不能同時運行。)

1. 安裝 Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools，內含將Dropbox 服務化的程式

2. 在命令提示字元下執行(安裝自訂新服務)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Resource Kits\Tools>instsrv Dropbox "c:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Resource Kits\Tools\srvany.exe"

3. 執行 regedit.exe 登錄檔編輯程式：
  a. 尋找機碼 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Dropbox
  b. 新增機碼 Parameters
  c. 新增字串值(type REG_SZ) Application
  d. 修改字串值Application之值為 「Dropbox.exe 執行檔之路徑」

4. 至服務管理員， 在登入分頁中， 選擇帳號登入的方式執行，登入帳號為安裝Dropbox所用之帳號，並輸入其密碼，參考資料中，舊版Dropbox可以免帳號啟動，新版的Dropbox 似乎不行。

5. 啟動Dropbox 服務，以後Dropbox會在開機時，自動以服務型式啟動。

Windows 自動隱藏工作列失效

設定「自動隱藏工作列」時，
需取消「將工作列顯示於最上層」，
才能避免失效，
缺點是此方法只有在桌面時才能藉由移動滑鼠來顯示工作列，
其他情況需使用快捷鍵 Ctrl+Esc 或 視窗鍵 來呼叫工作列。

亦可透過軟體來解決[2-5]。

安裝可攜版XAMPP windows 1.7.1 注意事項 in WinXP

XAMPP[1]是一套整合Apache, Mysql, PHP 與Perl 的網頁伺服器架設軟體，

不但容易上手，也有免安裝的版本，只要幾個步驟便能移植到別台電腦[2]。

安裝時的最新版是1.7.2，似乎因改版幅度較大有點缺陷，

MySQL的服務狀態無法啟動。故選用1.7.2，在此做個心得備忘。

Step 1:

不管將XAMPP資料夾放在那，執行"setup_xampp.bat"就對了。

如果你將XAMPP解壓縮在最上層目錄，像c:\xampp或d:\xampp 等目錄，你可以直接啟動XAMPP。 這表示你不需要事先執行"setup_xampp.bat"。Apache, MySQL 和 Mercury　郵件伺服器將可以正常啟動。 只有 FileZilla 檔案傳輸伺服器無法啟動，因為它需要絕對路徑設定才可以正常執行。 對以上這些方法來說：請不要使用雙層的XAMPP目錄，例如 c:\xampp\xampp ! 你需要的是單獨的xampp資料夾，例如 d:\xampp(\apache 其它等等)。 否則你就必須在啟動前，先執行一次"setup-xampp.bat"，來進行路徑的更新動作。

Step 2:

執行xampp-control.exe

Shell : 產生一個命令提示字元視窗，可用指令式設定。[1.7.2]

Setup : 執行setup_xampp.bat。[1.7.2]

Port-Check : 檢查所需連接埠狀態 [1.7.2]

Status : 檢視所有服務狀態。[1.7.1]

Service : 將xampp-control.exe安裝為服務。[1.7.1]

(p.s. WebDAV服務:使用戶端透過HTTP協定就可以新增、刪除、修改網頁上的資料。[1.7.2])

Explore : 檢視XAMMP資料夾。

SCM : Services Control Manager的縮寫，開啟 Windowns 系統服務管理員。

Refresh : 重新整理模組狀態。

Help／Close Help : 顯示／關閉說明視窗。

Exit: 離開。

可Start／Stop各種服務，或Admin開啟管理介面。

服務停用時，勾選Svc可安裝為Windowns 系統服務,。

(服務與一般開機啟動的程式不同是，使用者不用登入亦可運作。)

Tomcat，提供支援JSP的服務。[1.7.2]

Step 3:

啟用所須服務後，網頁環境算已建立好了，

但很多帳密都是預設值，需要重新設定帳密增加安全性[3][4]。

免費備份工具「SyncToy 2.0」與排程設定

慣用的SyncBack[1]雖然免費好用，但不支援unicode,

要付費版本的SyncBackSE才有支援[2]。

搜尋後發現SyncToy 2.0似乎也不錯[3]，可惜的是沒有可攜版[4]。

沒有方便的排程工具，但可用windowns內建排程達成，

如何變更MAC位址

如果同一網域有複數的網卡MAC位址相同常會引起網路問題，
因此，變更位址須特別注意此點。
書上通常會說，MAC位址是唯一的，
但[1]中提到MAC有可能會重複的
(雖然舉例有誤，應該是16^12=2^48=281,474,976,710,656)。
[1][2]中引用IHH所發表之 "MAC地址三步全接觸之豪“奪”MAC"，
在 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ system\Currentcontrolset\services\classes\net 下多個000、001、002等編號子目錄。
觀察其DriverDesc的敘述，在欲修改網卡名稱對應之編號目錄下，
新增一字串值，命名為NetworkAddress，並輸入所需之MAC位址。
在WinXP下實驗，經上述修改後，重新啟動網卡即可變更MAC位址。
在[3]中有更詳盡之英文解說，其中Method 2-d說到『Go to Start -> Run, type “regedt32” to start registry editor.
Do not use “Regedit.”』，
微軟的技術文件[4]中解釋，WinXP與WinSever 2003中，Regedt32.exe 等同 Regedit.exe，
但在Win2K中是不同的，故有此差異。
另外有一個GPL授權的小工具"Macshift"[5]可以使用，
其作者相關資訊於[6]有記載，[7]中有中文詳細圖文說明。
